Thank you to all of you who responded to our request for prayer. However, it is with heavy hearts that we share with you the news of the passing of one of our children. Godfrey Ouma (also known as Geoffry around the home) developed a severe case of malaria that did not respond to treatment in the hospital and went home to be with Jesus on Sunday, January 20, at around 6:30 p.m. Kenyan time. The funeral will be held tomorrow, Tuesday, January 22, at 11:00 a.m. to around 2:00 p.m. The local Texas time will be 2:00 a.m. to 5:00 a.m. Greg will be speaking at his funeral and has expressed the desire for prayer. Please pray for God’s grace and strength to get through what will surely be a tremendously difficult time. If you are awake during that time frame, please pray.
