Greg did a teaching series for men on becoming a true man of God both in the home and outside the home. Rachel conducted a teaching for the women. These foundational teachings are vital for the men and women of Africa. Good fruit is already coming to maturity from the teaching that was given.

Dear Friends,
Hello from Carry the Light Ministries. We would like to give you an update on our most recent trip to Kenya and the many other wonderful things that are happening! Thank you for your prayers. They were certainly felt and many great things were accomplished including the purchase of a new plot of land!
Our complex now includes three plots of land.
NEW SCHOOL BUILDING
Proposed CTL Christian Academy
During this last trip, we began construction on a new building for Carry The Light Christian Academy. In just 17 short (well, really LONG) days we went from ground breaking to putting the roof on! We were able to cover four classrooms and the work continues while we are away. Windows, doors, and plastering are in the finishing stages. By the end of next week, these four classrooms should be ready for our eager students. We will build the remaining six classrooms, offices, and Library when we return in August.
Groundbreaking for CTL Christian Academy on 5/22/2012.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
We had our annual birthday celebration and everyone had a wonderful time. The children were thrilled to receive jeans, two new t-shirts, and other goodies! A special thank you to everyone who donated to make this birthday great. Gifts for over 90 children is no small task and we so appreciate your financial support.
BOYS HOME IS ALMOST COMPLETED
Our Boys Home surrounded by kale and maize.
The Boys Home is almost ready! With the school rooms in the Academy almost finished, we will be able to move the classes from the Boys Home and then move the boys into their new home. Tile work and plumbing should be completed on our next trip in August. Our boys are very anxious to move in!
HONDURAS
I am writing this email as I sit on yet another plane on my way to Honduras today. Our team includes men who are eager to build the second dorm building for our soon to open “Llevando la Luz al Mundo Casa de Ninos” in Guascopousca, Honduras. We will also be meeting with our attorney in Honduras for an update of the registration of our Ministry with the Honduran government. We really need this to move so that we can proceed with plans to open this Home. We expect to see great progress there and I so appreciate your prayers for favor, safety, and swift construction.
Thank you for all that you do for this ministry. Please remember that every hand I shake, every hug given, every encouraging word is an extention of the prayers and financial support you give this ministry. May God richly bless you!
