UPCOMING TRIPS
I leave for Honduras on November 7 and will return November 15. Please help cover this trip in prayer. There are strategic things that need to happen and we appreciate your prayer for God’s perfect timing.
We will return to Kenya shortly after Christmas and are so looking forward to seeing our Kenyan family and hugging our kids!

AN UPDATE FROM OUR RESIDENT MISSIONARIES IN KENYA…
|
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Adi Maber? That is, ” How are you?” (in Luo). Everything is going very well here. We are taking lessons in Luo from one of the school teachers. We are old and don’t learn as quick, but we’ll keep plugging away. Please pray that God will give us super natural abilities. We want to be able to communicate enough with the people in the village to build relationships with them for evangelistic reasons of course, so….Yesu en wuod Nyasaye ne obiro mondo o warwa. (Jesus is the son of God and He came to save us.)I can SAY it too! 🙂
Craig is preaching all over the place and I actually have preached some, too. Wetraveled last weekend to a place called “Eldoret” about four hours away. We get a lot of invitations and we really cannot accept every one, so as the Lord leads.
The children have prayer, worship, and some teaching three nights a week. It is always good, but the other night the presence of God came so mightily. Everyone was on their knees. One of the children broke and was crying and you knew she was being touched by the Lord. We usually end by 8:30 because of school the next day, but we stayed in HIS presence until 9:00 PM and reluctant to leave at that.
Our farmer here for the home was having a lot of problems and Craig and the other two men who work here led him to the Lord a couple of weeks ago and he is definitely a changed man. He is coming to church, his marriage is restored and his whole countenence has changed! Praise mighty God. This is what the people here say the most instead of “Praise the Lord” like we do. All glory goes to God for this man’s salvation.

Craig is helping with improving the operating systems of the home and I have the enjoyable job of being the liason for the sponsors and their children. If you go to Facebook and type in “Carry the Light Usigu Sponsors Page” then “like” it, you will see some of the communication between the children and their sponsors.
I am still having a regular time of prayer, fellowship, and worship with the staff ladies and teachers and it is getting better and better. I have really bonded with these women and I get so blessed by them. We appreciate all of your prayers. Erokamano Nyasaye Ogwedhi – Thank you, may God bless you.

We so appreciate and thank God for each of you who supports Carry the Light. Whether you sponsor a child or give to the general fund, your donations are invaluable. The cost of living in Kenya has increased dramatically and your support has never been more important than now. Donations to the general fund can be made in any amount and enable us to build, provide for educational needs, hold crusades and services, offset orphan expenses, and so much more.
May God bless you abundantly!
